About The Marsh Agency

The company was originally set up by Paul Marsh and Susie Nicklin and was managed by Paul until his sudden death in 2009 at which point Susie Nicklin became the sole owner and CEO of the agency, though she continues to work full time as the Director of Literature for the British Council. Today we are a company of ten people with two strong teams of dedicated agents – one specialising in selling translation rights, the other concentrating on our agency authors. 

The Marsh Agency now incorporate two further agencies, Paterson Marsh Ltd (formerly Mark Paterson Associates) and Campbell Thomson & McLaughlin Ltd. We moved to our Albemarle Street address in March 2008, taking office space in the beautiful John Murray building. To read more about this historic building click here.
