Susie Nicklin
Susie Nicklin read English language and literature at Oxford University and started her career at The Bodley Head publishing house. She then moved to become an agent, subsequently a Director, at Marsh & Sheil Ltd, and in 1994 set up The Marsh Agency with her then husband Paul. In 2002 she became the Director of English PEN and in 2005 the Director of Literature at the British Council.
Following Paul's sudden death in July 2009 Susie took up the reins at the Marsh Agency as non-executive Chair. She works full-time at British Council. She can be contacted via Georgina Le Grice.
