Stephanie EbdonSteph joined the company in July 2001, shortly after it was acquired by Paul Marsh, and began working with all of the existing authors and publisher clients for English language and translation rights. She quickly became involved with the administration of the various literary Estates including Sigmund Freud Copyrights and The Winnicott Trust. Since being promoted to Rights Director in 2005, Steph has been developing her own list of new authors. She is keen to expand the company profile based on the unique heritage provided by Sigmund Freud and the other key psychoanalytic figures on the Paterson list. Steph is interested in the brain, psychological and sociological phenomena, current affairs, literary non-fiction and memoir, and will consider both serious academic texts and books aimed at the general reader. Steph also looks after the translation rights for Marsh Agency clients Icon Books Ltd and The Octagon Press, and is Company Secretary for Paterson Marsh and Sigmund Freud Copyrights. Born in Nottingham, Steph obtained a degree in French and German Language and Literature at Birmingham University before moving to London in 2000. Alongside her increasingly rusty French and German, she also speaks basic Spanish. |
